Grayson’s vision is founded in the desire to create environments and experiences which provide opportunities for healing and growth. The body is designed to heal itself; it simply needs to remember how and be allowed the space and time to do so. By creating spaces conducive to healing and hosting activities like hooping and yoga, she gives others permission to tap into their innate ability to attain joy and wellness on each level of their life. Grayson sees design as a thread connecting all aspects of life from the spaces we inhabit to the poses we create on the mat.
Through interior architecture, Grayson strives to provide built environments which aid in our healing process. Critical in healthcare and healing spaces, our bodies and minds require the support of our environment for the optimal healing process. Grayson is a LEED Accredited Professional.
Grayson completed the Anusara Teacher Training Program in 2011. In her study of Yoga and meditation, Grayson has discovered a system of healing that when applied, will bring about a deeper awareness of the self, a sharp mind, a soft heart, and a truly vibrant body. She also is a Body Talk Access practitioner and uses this tool to awaken the self and to integrate teachings and experiences.
Through the art of hula hooping, Grayson provides the opportunity for others to awaken their own creative essence –this process encourages transformation and healing. Grayson's hula hoop practice and techniques are inspired by Anusara Yoga's Universal Principles of Alignment. She feels that the hula hoop is a multi-faceted tool that can be used to invoke change, awaken one's inner spirit, and increase one's physical capacity. Grayson finds joy and self-healing when creating handmade hula hoops. Seeing the smiles on hoop recipients and hearing their echoes of laughter as they swirl in the hoop affirms that laughter truly is a powerful medicine and that living a playful and creative life is part of a healthy life. In class, she is a host for people to come together to play, learn more about themselves, and leave with an uplifted perspective and a more refined connection with the light that shines from within.
